El Paso to Host 2006 All-Star Game

EL PASO‑ The El Paso Diablos have been awarded the 2006 Central/Can-Am League All Star game to take place on July 18, at Cohen Stadium in El Paso, Texas. This will be the third All-Star match up for the Central and Can-Am Leagues.
"We're excited about having our All-Star Game in El Paso," said Miles Wolf, Central Baseball League Commissioner. "It's a great city and it should be a good event for both the Can-Am and Central Leagues."
"This is one of the premier events in independent baseball," said Mark Schuster president of the El Paso Diablos. "It's an honor that the Can-Am and Central League's have unanimously chosen El Paso to host this great event."
The two day event includes an All-Star Luncheon and reception featuring a prominent guest speaker. Tickets are available now through season tickets and mini-plans by calling the Diablos Box Office.
