WICHITA, KS- The Diablos jumped out to a 3-0 lead, en route to a 5-2 victory over the Wingnuts on Sunday at Lawrence Dumont Stadium.
Byron Smith led the way for El Paso with three hits, including a three-run home run. Kevin Hooper went 3-5 for Wichita. Jusef Frias took the victory, Justin Young suffered the loss and Mike Cervera recorded his fourth save of the season.
The Wingnuts will begin their final home stand of the first half tomorrow when they host the Shreveport Sports at 7:05 p.m. For tickets call the Wingnuts office at (316) 264-4625.
