Eight Loons Called up to National Teams

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Minnesota United today announced Jan Gregus, Robin Lod, Kevin Molino, Romain Metanire, Michael Boxall, Chase Gasper, Mason Toye and Hassani Dotson have been called up for international play as the fall international schedule continues for the Slovakia, Finland, Trinidad and Tobago, Madagascar, New Zealand, U.S. Men's and U23 U.S national teams, respectively.
In Europe, Lod and Gregus continue their Euro 2020 qualifying campaigns. In Finland, Lod will face Liechtenstein on November 15 then travel to Greece for a November 18 matchup.
The Slovakia national team will play in Croatia on November 16, and then host Azerbaijan on November 19.
Molino returns to the Trinidad and Tobago National Team for the Concacaf Nations League, facing Anguilla on November 11 and Ecuador on November 14.
Madagascar continues their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign as Metanire returns to face Ethiopia on November 16 and then travel to face Niger on November 19.
Boxall will reunite with the New Zealand National Team for the first time in 2019 for some international friendlies on November 14 in Ireland and November 17 in Lithuania.
In his first senior international call-up, Gasper will join the USMNT pre-camp in preparation for the remaining Concacaf Nations League games against Canada on November 15 and Cuba on November 19. Toye and Dotson join the U23 team in Spain to face Brazil and Argentina or Chile on November 14 and 17, respectively.
