ECHL Announces Fines
October 7, 2012 - ECHL (ECHL) News Release
PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Sunday announced that Fort Wayne's Francois Lacerte has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Preseason Game #14, Evansville at Fort Wayne, on Oct. 6.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Additionally, the Fort Wayne organization has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of violating ECHL Playing Rule #72 - Video/DVD Procedure from the ECHL Playing Manual.
