MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Canada - Devin Ebanks scored a season-high 28 points but the Grand Rapids Drive struggled with their shooting touch on Wednesday evening.

Grand Rapids, which didn't score for the first 3 1/2 minutes of the game, fell 100-86 to the Raptors 905 in front of 1,254 fans at the Hershey Centre. The Drive shot 38 percent from the field and finished with the second fewest points in a game this season.

The Drive, the affiliate of the Detroit Pistons, falls to 5-8. The 905, the affiliate of the Toronto Raptors, improves to 4-8. The 905, the newest team in the D-League, plays its home games in Mississauga, a suburb of Toronto.

Ebanks, a 6-foot-9 forward out of West Virginia was 8-of-21 from the field and drained four 3-pointers. His previous high in points was 25. Grand Rapids center Henry Sims had a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds before exiting the game late in the fourth quarter with his second technical foul. Lorenzo Brown had 16 points and five assists and Dahntay Jones added 11 points.

The Drive jumped out to a 12-4 run to start the second half, thanks to nine points by Ebanks during the run to cut the deficit to 49-46.

Grand Rapids shot 33 percent in the first half as the Drive trailed 45-34 at halftime. The 34 points is a season-low, surpassing the 36 the Drive scored against Fort Wayne on Dec. 6. The highlight of the first half was a break-away dunk by forward Sam Thompson. It was started by a Brown steal who then connected with Thompson for the slam.

Ronald Roberts Jr. led the Raptors with 21 points and Bruno Caboclo added 18.

Grand Rapids returns home on Saturday when it hosts the Iowa Energy for a 7 p.m. contest at The DeltaPlex Arena.
