Eastern Conference Finals schedule announced

Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts today announced their third round playoff schedule for their Eastern Conference Final series against the Peterborough Petes.

The Colts finished up their regular season in third place in the Eastern Conference with 90 points and a 43-21-1-3 overall record, the third most points in franchise history. The Petes captured the Eastern Conference regular season title with a 47-16-2-3 record and 99 points. The two clubs tied their regular season series with a 2-2 record versus each other in four meetings. The Colts will play in the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since the 2001-02 season. To advance, they defeated the St. Michael's Majors in four games and the Brampton Battalion in five games. On the other end, the Petes will make their second consecutive appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals after defeating the Ottawa 67's in six games and the Sudbury Wolves in four games.

Tickets for home games in the series will go on sale Saturday April 15 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster by calling (705)-739-7666, in person at the box office, or on-line at www.barriecolts.com. Individual game tickets for the goal zone are priced at $18.00 and central zone $19.00.
