
Earthquakes Look to Continue Run to the Playoffs Against the Philadelphia Union

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Following a 0-0 draw with a red-hot FC Dallas, the San Jose Earthquakes look to continue their run to the playoffs when they take on the expansion Philadelphia Union on Wednesday, September 15th at Buck Shaw Stadium at 7 p.m. PT. The match will be broadcast live on MLS Direct Kick, 1220 KDOW (English) and 1370 KZSF (in Spanish). The match will air on Comcast SportsNet California on tape delay following the Oakland Athletics' game against the Kansas City Royals. The National Hispanic University is the presenting sponsor for the game and the first 3,000 fans will
San Jose comes in with 33 points in 22 games, tied with Seattle Sounders FC for seventh place in the playoff standings. The Earthquakes are searching for their first appearance in the postseason since the club returned in 2008. The Philadelphia Union come in with a record of 6-11-6 and 24 points in their first season.
