San Jose Earthquakes News Release
SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes announced today the club's front office will team up with Operation Care and Comfort for a Military Blitz Day Campaign ahead of Memorial Day weekend that begins on Friday, May 27. Throughout the campaign, companies and individuals can donate Cali Clasico tickets to troops with the Earthquakes matching each contribution.
The entire Earthquakes front office will shut down its business operations on Friday to support this campaign. Additionally, representatives from Operation Care and Comfort will be on hand to help drive the campaign at Earthquakes headquarters.
The Military Blitz Day Campaign is centered around the club's Eighth Annual Military Appreciation Night in another edition of the Cali Clasico, when the Earthquakes host the LA Galaxy at Stanford Stadium on Saturday, June 25 (7 p.m. PT / UniMás and TUDN). The match, which is anticipated to be the biggest summer sporting event in the Bay Area, returns to Stanford Stadium for the first time since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Different ticket packages are available, with all orders benefitting local military veterans and their families. In addition, each order will include a donation to Operation: Care and Comfort and their initiatives in support of the Military throughout the year.
