
Earthquakes Head Coach Dominic Kinnear Ready for MLS SuperDraft on Friday, January 16

San Jose (Thursday, January 15, 2004) - San Jose Earthquakes head coach Dominic Kinnear traveled to Charlotte, NC Wednesday to finalize preparations for the 2004 MLS SuperDraft that will be held on Friday, January 16 at the Charlotte Convention Center. The draft begins at 7:00 a.m. PT.
The Earthquakes have two first round selections in the draft and seven picks overall in the six-round draft. The team owns the 5th, 10th, 27th, 30th, 40th, 50th, and 60th overall picks in the draft.
"We feel that we are well-positioned to add quality players through the draft on Friday," said Quakes head coach Dominic Kinnear. "We are looking to add depth to a couple of different areas."
The first hour of the draft will be broadcast live on Fox Sports World, while the draft will also be webcast in its entirety on mlsnet.com. The entire draft will also be available on satellite and satellite coordinates for the draft broadcast are listed below.
