Earthquakes Face New England Revolution in Season Opener on Saturday, March 21

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes take on the New England Revolution on Saturday, March 21 at Buck Shaw Stadium in their 2009 season opener. The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. PT. The first 5,000 fans will receive Amway Global Earthquakes shirts. The game will be televised live on Comcast SportsNet California. Fans can also listen to the game on the radio on 1220 AM KDOW.

This game will be the first of two meetings between these two teams this season. The Quakes last meeting with the Revs in Aug. 16, 2008 ended up in a 4-0 victory for the Quakes. Their next meeting will be Saturday, August 29 at Gillette Stadium.
