Earley to perform at Hounds' halftime

Seventeen year old Kyle Earley, son of Melissa and Floyd Earley of New Matamoras, Ohio, will be performing this Saturday during the halftime show of the Ohio Valley Greyhounds game. Earley has been singing since the age of four and has performed in Ohio, West Virginia, Illinois, Kentucky and Tennessee. Kyle has received numerous awards and recognitions, and was a 2005 WV State finalist in the Colgate Country Showdown.

He has opened for such acts as Ty Herndon, Blue County, Ricochet, Confederate Railroad, and Trick Pony. He has also performed at Loretta Lynne's Ranch in Tennessee and the Little Nashville Opry in Indiana. This summer he will be opening for Shenandoah, the Povertyneck Hillbillies, and Low Cash Cowboys. Over the Memorial Day weekend, he will be appearing at the Country Jam in the Valley event at Clearfield, PA. All proceeds from this event will go to the Navasky Foundation/One Less Tear and Queen for Kids Children's Miracle Network to help with their ongoing fight against cancer.

His fourth C.D., "Living Advice", was recently completed in Nashville, featuring original songs written by Kyle and his mother, along with old country and gospel. It will be available this spring.

While a junior at River High School, Kyle is attending Ohio University Eastern as a post-secondary student. He is also a member of the National Honor Society. Kyle enjoys playing basketball and has been a member of the River varsity squad for three years.
