CorTrust Bank "Thunderball Toss" a Success

Sioux Falls Storm News Release


The Sioux Falls Storm of United Indoor Football (UIF) is pleased to announce that the Storm and CorTrust Bank have partnered to raise over $1,800 for local charities during the first two home games of the season with the "Thuderball Toss" promotion.

At all Storm home games, fans are able to purchase "Thunderballs" to throw at a target on the field at halftime. Fans hitting the target are eligible for prizes. The footballs are sold for $2 each, will all the money going directly back to local charities.

The dollars raised so far have benefited The Children's Home Society and South Dakota Junior Football. Volunteers of America Dakotas will be a beneficiary later in the season as well.

The Storm begins a two-game road swing this weekend as they travel to Ft. Wayne, Indiana Saturday, April 22 for a 6:30 PM kick-off. The next home game for the Storm is Saturday, May 6 when the Ft. Wayne Freedom visits the "Storm Shelter" at the Sioux Falls Arena. Season tickets are available at a pro-rated price by calling the Storm Football Office at 605-332-4225.
