Eagles to Battle Rapid City Rush in Preseason

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles announced Tuesday that they will play two preseason games prior to the 2015-16 season against their longtime rival, the Rapid City Rush. The home-and-home preseason series will see the first game between the two clubs played at the Budweiser Events Center on Friday, October 9th, with the preseason finale coming on Saturday, October 10th in Rapid City at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center.
This will mark the second straight season in which the Eagles and Rush have faced one another in the preseason, as the two clubs split a pair of games prior to the 2014-15 campaign. Colorado and Rapid City will clash a total of 12 times during the 2015-16 regular season, with six of those games being played at the Budweiser Events Center and the remaining six contests to take place in Rapid City. The two teams have faced each other 36 total times during the regular season, with the Eagles holding the advantage in the all-time series with a record of 23-11-2.
Individual tickets for the October 9th match-up against the Rush will go on sale to the public in September.
