Colorado Eagles News Release
WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles are again teaming up with Northern Colorado Youth Hockey (NCYH) for the third annual NCYH Golf Tournament at Pelican Lakes Golf & Country Club in Water Valley. This year's tournament will be held on Saturday, June 20 with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
The Eagles will be well-represented with players, Slapshot, Eagles Chicks and the Fanboni all in attendance. Last year's tournament helped raise $12,000 for local youth who would not otherwise have been able to participate in local hockey programs.
"The NCYH golf tournament not only gives us all about four hours of frustration, but it allows us to give young, aspiring hockey players months of enjoyment," said NCYH Hockey Director Aaron Grosul. "The Jr. Eagles Golf Tournament, with the support of this great community, gives those in need a little help through the NCYH Foundation."
If you'd like to participate, space is still available. For more information -- or to register -- please visit the NCYH homepage at www.NCYH.pucksystems2.com.
