Eagles Look to Stay Alive in Game Five in Baie-Comeau

For the first time in 2024, the Cape Breton Eagles season is on the line as they take on the Baie-Comeau Drakkar tonight. It's game five, the Eagles trail the series 3-1 and will need to win on the road to extend the season. Following a heated game four it's sure to be an emotional game as the Eagles fight for their season.
Baie-Comeau seized control of the series with an 8-2 victory in game four,.Justin Poirier led the scoring parade for the Drakkar with four goals and one assist, while Isaac Dufort & Justin Gill each produced three-point nights.
In total there were five game misconducts were handed out in game four on Tuesday, none which resulted in any suspensions. It's unknown the extent of any injuries that may have been incurred, although in game four Baie-Comeau was happy to welcome forward Julien Paillé back for the first time in the series after he had been sidelined.
