Colorado Eagles News Release

LOVELAND, Colo. - On Saturday, Nov. 5, the Colorado Eagles will be hosting their first ever "Firefighter Appreciation Night" at the Budweiser Events Center when they take on the Ontario Reign. In addition to several of the day's festivities honoring firefighters, a portion of ticket sales* will go toward the Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund, a charity that supports firefighters and their families through various avenues.

To help kick-off the day's events, a charity hockey game will be played at the BEC at 1 p.m. between two local teams, one made up of firefighters and the other made up of police officers. Admission to the charity game will be free.

Outside of the arena, starting in the late afternoon, local firefighters will be educating fans and their children about fire safety, aided by their educational "smoke house." Inside, the night's in-game entertainment will also be firefighter-themed.

*To purchase the specially-designated tickets that will have a portion of their proceeds donated to the Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund, contact the Colorado Eagles' office (970-686-7468) and mention Terry Farrell's name.
