WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles announced Wednesday that they have re-signed goaltender Jacob DeSerres for the 2015-16 season. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound netminder joined the Eagles late last season as an amateur and posted a 1.94 goals-against average and a .930 save percentage in two regular season starts. He would also go on to see action in two playoff contests for the Eagles against the Ontario Reign.

Prior to arriving in Colorado, DeSerres spent the previous four seasons at the University of Calgary, where he was named the CIS "Goaltender of the Year" during the 2013-14 season, while also being named to the CIS All-Canadian First Team during that same season. The Calgary, Alberta native went 32-13-2 in 48 total games with the Dinos, registering a 2.19 goals-against average and a .905 save percentage.

DeSerres also spent five seasons at the major-junior level with the Seattle Thunderbirds and Brandon Wheat Kings of the WHL; leading Brandon to the Memorial Cup Finals in 2010. He would conclude his junior career by backstopping the St. John Sea Dogs to a QMJHL Championship and ultimately a Memorial Cup Championship in 2011. DeSerres appeared in 154 regular season games at the major junior level, posting a record of 93-47-5, to go along with a cumulative goals-against average of 2.67 and a .906 save percentage.

DeSerres was selected in the third-round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers after finishing the 2007-08 season tied for the best save percentage in the WHL at .922. He has appeared in one AHL contest with the Adirondack Flames during the 2014-15 campaign.

Season tickets for the 2015-16 season are on-sale now and can be reserved with a $50 deposit per seat by calling the Eagles ticket office at 970-686-SHOT (7468).

The 2015-16 regular season home schedule kicks off on Friday, October 16th when the Eagles host the Utah Grizzlies. A complete schedule can be found at www.ColoradoEagles.com.
