
Road Warriors Bring Back Alberga, Holka

Greenville, SC - The Greenville Road Warriors, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers and the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack, today announced forwards Domenic Alberga and Joey Holka have each re-signed for the 2015-16 season.
Alberga, 22, made his professional debut with the Road Warriors last season following a two-year career at Ryerson University in Toronto. The gritty forward was initially signed on February 25th and immediately made an impact, scoring three goals in his first four appearances. Overall, Alberga notched four points (3g, 1a) and eight penalty minutes in 13 contests.
A native of Maple, Ontario, Alberga recorded 75 points (53g, 39a) in 82 games at Ryerson. Prior to his college career, the 6'1, 185-pounder played four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with Brampton, Sarnia and Kitchener from 2009-2013.
Holka, 25, also joined the Road Warriors last February and tallied one goal and seven penalty minutes in eight games. Previously, Holka played three games with the Utah Grizzlies and seven contests with the Mississippi RiverKings (Southern Professional Hockey League), where he earned more than a point-per-game; three goals, five assists and a +6 rating.
Prior to turning pro, the Phoenix, Arizona native spent three seasons at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota. He notched 14 points (6g, 8a) and 53 penalty minutes in 80 career games.
The 6'3, 190-pound forward also played three seasons of junior hockey in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) with the Penticton Vees from 2008-2011. He registered 102 points (49g, 53a) and 192 penalty minutes in 161 regular-season contests, and an additional nine points (5g, 4a) and 28 penalty minutes in 32 playoff games.
