Houston Dynamo FC News Release

HOUSTON - The Houston Dynamo return home to BBVA Compass Stadium on Saturday night looking to snap a two-match winless skid and reclaim the dominant home form they showed throughout last season. Standing in their way are the New England Revolution, who come into Saturday's contest with positive momentum after playing league-leading New York City FC to a draw at Yankee Stadium last weekend.

GAME INFORMATION:

MATCHUP: Houston Dynamo (1-1-1; 4 pts.) vs. New England Revolution (1-1-1; 4 pts.)

TIME: 7:30 p.m. CDT

TV: KUBE Ch. 57 (LOCAL CHANNEL GUIDE)

RADIO: CBS Sports Radio 650 AM (English); Univision Radio 1010 AM (Spanish)

Here are three key points you'll need to know as the Dynamo shoot for three points on the field:

1. PANTHER ON THE PROWL - Through three games, forward Alberth Elis has been a terror for opposing defenders. La Pantera has recorded a goal and/or an assist in every game this year and has had a hand in five of Houston's seven goals on the young season. He is tied for the league lead in assists, with three, and in "big chances," a measure of clear scoring opportunities, with five. Elis is in the top 10 in nine different offensive categories and is 11th in chances created. If he can remain a consistent threat from the wing on Saturday, the Dynamo attack should continue to be in good shape.

2. GET THE BAD TASTE OUT OF YOUR MOUTHS - The Dynamo have had two weeks to sit and stew over a frustrating 2-2 draw in their last match at D.C. United in which they conceded the game-tying goal in the 97th minute - the latest goal in any regular-season game in Dynamo history. They'll be itching to get the sour taste from that game out of their mouths when they hit the field on Saturday night. In 19 home games under head coach Wilmer Cabrera, the Dynamo have scored inside the first 15 minutes nine times and are 8-0-1 in those games.

3. SEITZ MAKING HIS 100TH START - Goalkeeper Chris Seitz joined the Dynamo during the offseason, bringing 11 years of experience in Major League Soccer with him. Seitz has started each of the first three games for Houston this year, and if he starts on Saturday it would be the 100th of his career. Seitz has a career record as a starter of 39-35-26 and will be looking to pick up his 40th win as a starter as well on Saturday night.
