Dynamo Forward Calen Carr to Host Charity Bowling Event Tomorrow

HOUSTON (Monday, Oct. 15, 2012) - Houston Dynamo forward Calen Carr and Dynamo Charities, presented by the Halliburton Charitable Foundation, will host a bowling event Tuesday night at 300 Houston. Proceeds from the event will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters and their efforts to bring a mentoring program to Rusk Elementary in Houston's east end.

The event, which is part of Calen's Big Play initiative, will run from 7-9 p.m. 300 Houston is located at 925 Bunker Hill Road, Houston TX 77024.

Fewer than ten spots remain to bowl with Carr and his teammates, including Brian Ching, Bobby Boswell and Corey Ashe. There will also be a silent auction with items including autographed Houston Dynamo and Houston Rockets gear and other exclusive experiences.

Fans can register to bowl by visiting HoustonDynamo.com/BowlwithCalen . The $125 registration fee includes entrance to the event, two hours of bowling and food and drink (while supplies last). Fans can also pay $25 to enter the event, interact with the players (bowling not included) and take part in the silent auction.
