Dynamo Academy Alumni Match Set for December 18 at BBVA Compass Stadium

HOUSTON (Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014) - The Houston Dynamo Academy will stage its fifth annual Alumni Match on Thursday, Dec. 18 at BBVA Compass Stadium. Admission is free and the match will kick off at 6:30 p.m. as the Houston Dynamo Under-18 team faces the Dynamo Academy alumni, including current Dynamo goalkeeper Tyler Deric.

The match will pit the current Dynamo Academy Under-18 team against Dynamo Academy alumni. The U-18 Academy team is currently in first place in the U.S. Development Academy Central Conference, Frontier Division, with a 5-1-1 mark. The squad is led by 2013 Dynamo Academy Player of the Year Christian Lucatero and Juan "Charly" Flores, who was named to the U.S. Development Academy U-16 Central Conference Best XI after scoring 26 goals in 30 games last season.
