Norfolk Admirals News Release
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. â The Norfolk Admirals are pleased to announce that Kevin Messina of DVMagic Studios, Inc., has purchased bought 20 season tickets for the 2002-2003 season as part of the Admirals Angels program. The season tickets are being donated to the Ronald McDonald House of Norfolk.
"Children's charities are of a special interest to me. They need support in so many different ways in addition to just sending a check for a donation," said Messina, Chief Technology Officer of DVMagic Studios. "The âAdmirals Angels' program seemed to be one of the more interesting ways to provide an outlet to the local and visiting families through the area's Ronald McDonald House. I am hopeful that by children being with their families and friends for a hockey game, it will help them forget, for just a moment, what they are going through. This program is a wonderful way to give back to the local community as well as making children smile."
"The generosity Mr. Messina has shown is just outstanding," stated Todd McKeating, Director of Operations for the Norfolk Admirals. "His purchase of 20 season tickets will go a long way to brighten the day of some needful children and their families. We offer our deepest thanks to him for stepping up big and giving so much to our community."
With the Admirals Angels program, the Admirals organization encourages businesses and individuals to purchase season tickets and donate them to the arts, cultural society or charitable cause of their choosing. The donated tickets can be used to do such things as raise funds, reward exemplary students, or bring underprivileged children to Admirals games.
DVMagic Studios, Inc., a video production company out of Melville, New York, specializes in the production of software based digital video projects for corporations.
The Admirals' season ticket drive continues. In addition to full season ticket packages, 10- and 20-game packages are also available. To purchase or renew season tickets or partial packages for the 2002-03 season, call the Admirals office at (757) 363-1900 or visit the Admirals office at 1300 Diamond Springs Road, Suite 101 in Virginia Beach.
