The Bulls play game two of a three-game series against the Gwinnett Braves in the first series of a season-long 10-game homestand. Durham is 1-4 over its last five, is 3-9 over its last 12, and is just 5-11 since the All-Star Break. The Bulls have dropped 27 of their last 40 contests to go from a 2.0-game lead in the IL South to a 10.5-game deficit, their largest division deficit of the season. Gwinnett - the Atlanta Braves' top affiliate - is 9-6 since the All-Star break, but is 8-3 over its last 11 contests. Today marks the fifth straight game between the two teams, with Gwinnett taking three of the first four.
