
Durand Named Pitcher of the Week

LOVES PARK, Ill. - RiverHawks pitcher Brett Durand has been named the Northern League Pitcher of the Week for the week ending June 20.
Durand won, 10-4, at Schaumburg Wednesday in his only start. He allowed one run on four hits in seven innings. He struck out a season-high seven batters. Durand is the first RiverHawks player to win an award in the Northern League.
The RiverHawks are members of the Northern League, an eight-team independent professional baseball league that will play its 18th season this summer.
