ZEBULON, NC. (May 26, 2010) - The Seattle Mariners announced the following roster moves that effects the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx roster. OF Joe Dunigan has been placed on on the 7-Day DL, retroactive to 5/23. INF/OF Nate Tenbrink has been promoted from A+ High Desert. At High Desert Tenbrink was at or near the top in several offensive categories in the California League.. (43 G, 174 AB, .379 AVG (2nd), 9 HR (T4th), 42 RBI (1st), 14 SB, .452 OBP (3rd), .649 SLG (2nd), 113 TB (1st), 38 R (3rd)) Games played at DH, LF, RF, 3B and 1B. Tenbrink was a 7th round draft choice in 2007 out of Kansas State University and resides in Olathe, KS.
The moves are made prior to tonight's series opener against the Carolina Mudcats at 6:15. The Jaxx begin a 10-game road trip in Carolina and Chattanooga.
