DUNEDIN, FL - Tonight's regularly scheduled game between the Dunedin Blue Jays and Tampa Yankees on Monday, August 31st has been officially postponed due to inclement weather conditions.
College Football Kickoff Night has been rescheduled for Thursday, September 3rd on Fan Appreciation Night when the Dunedin Blue Jays play host to the Clearwater Threshers in the final home game of the 2015 regular season. The D-Jays will also host a garage sale on September 3rd of Blue Jays merchandise and memorabilia.
The D-Jays and Yankees will take part in a doubleheader of two seven-inning games tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1st. The first pitch of game one is scheduled for 5:00PM. There will be a half-hour intermission between ballgames.
Prior to the postponement of tonight's regularly scheduled game, the Dunedin Blue Jays and Tampa Yankees completed their suspended contest from Sunday evening.
The pair of clubs picked it up with one out and a runner on first for Tampa in the top of the fifth inning. The Yankees held a 3-0 lead at the time of resumption, but Dunedin scored 10 times between the seventh and eighth innings to win 10-6.
