Long Island Ducks News Release

(Central Islip, N.Y., Jan. 26, 2004) – "I can never get Ducks tickets." "The Ducks are always sold out." For fans that found themselves uttering these oft-repeated and well-known Long Island phrases in the past, now is the time to make 2004 different. Multiple ticket packages are currently available to the public, including season and 10-game ticket packages.

"There are so many choices at this time of year," said Ducks ticket manager Ben Harper. "For fans that find themselves without tickets during the summer, now is the time to reserve your seats. I am waiting by the phone for your calls."

10-game ticket package choices can be viewed at www.liducks.com, and provide fans with the opportunity to own great seats for multiple games during the season for both weeknight and weekend games. Promotional nights, including fireworks, are included in different 10-game packages.

While 10 packs are a great gift for someone else or yourself, what could be better than owning the same great seats for the entire season? As a season ticket holder, you'll never again have to wait on line at the box office for seats. Season ticket holders also own a special discount to the Waddle In Shop. Tickets are ideal for corporate gatherings and are a great gift for friends, staff or family members.

In addition to season and 10-pack tickets, the Ducks have also made group tickets and birthday party packages available to the public. Individual game tickets do not go on sale until March.

Fans wishing to become season ticket or mini-plan ticket holders are encouraged to contact the ticket sales department at (631) 940-3825, extension 116.

The Long Island Ducks, who play their home games at Citibank Park, are entering their fifth anniversary season of play in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. They have filled their ballpark to over 100 percent capacity for four consecutive seasons and are one of the most successful minor league franchises in the country. In their four years, they have sold sixteen contracts to Major League organizations and two of their alumni, Carlos Baerga and Pedro Borbon, Jr., have played in the Major Leagues following their stint with the Ducks.
