
Ducks Team up with National Grid

(Central Islip, N.Y., Oct. 15, 2012) - The Long Island Ducks today announced National Grid as the naming rights sponsor of the club's official Street Team. The partnership will include naming rights of the Street Team ("The Long Island Ducks Street Team powered by National Grid"), along with National Grid logos and marks on all official Street Team staff apparel.
Throughout the year, the team immerses itself in community events, programs and appearances. National Grid, long known in the market for delivering excellent levels of safety, reliability and customer responsiveness, is a strong supporter of initiatives that positively impact our local communities.
"We're proud to partner with National Grid on our Street Team," said Ducks President/GM Michael Pfaff. "As a long-time partner and sponsor of the Ducks, National Grid and its predecessors have a long and proud history serving the energy needs of Long Island."

October 25 (8:30-9:30 a.m.): St. William The Abbot Race for Education in Seaford, N.Y.
October 27 (11 a.m.-1 p.m.): TD Bank Grand Opening in Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.
November 24 (9:15 a.m.): Holiday Parade in Sayville, N.Y.
November 24 (6:00 p.m.): Holiday Parade in Patchogue, N.Y
