(Central Islip, N.Y., Mar. 15, 2010) - Long Island Ducks team officials today announced dates and starting times for their 2010 Spring Training schedule. For the first time in league history, 2010 Atlantic League Spring Training camps will be held at each of the eight home parks. Long Island previously held spring training at the Tiger Town complex in Lakeland, Florida. The Spring Training schedule will include four exhibition games against the rival cross-sound rival Bridgeport Bluefish and Freedom Division nemesis Newark Bears.

"We are excited to offer this unique experience to our fans," says Ducks general manager Michael Pfaff. "As the 2010 roster takes shape, Ducks' fans will have the chance to watch first-hand."

Two games are slated at the home of Ducks as the Flock will take on the Bears on Saturday, April 17 and the Bluefish on Tuesday, April 20. General admission tickets will be issued FREE to Ducks season ticket and suite holders and a $5 donation to the QuackerJack Foundation will apply to all other fans. Season ticket holders may gain admission to the ballpark by showing their season ticket holder ID card or other form of identification at the box office. The Ducks will conclude spring training with their annual season ticket meet-and-greet barbeque on Wednesday, April 21st, allowing fans to connect with the 2010 team on a one-on-one level.

The Long Island Ducks play their home games at Citibank Park in Central Islip, NY and are entering their 11th season of play in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
