Long Island Ducks News Release
After recessing for three days for the Atlantic League All-Star Break, the Flock begin a four-game series on Thursday at the Camden Riversharks. Long Island will return home to Citibank Park on Monday, June 29, to kick-off of a seven-game homestand against the York Revolution and Bridgeport Bluefish. With 15 games remaining in their first half, the Ducks are just three games behind the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs for first place in the Liberty Division.
Monday, June 29, 6:35 vs. York (5:35 gates)
The Ducks host the York Revolution to begin a seven-game homestand. The first 1,500 fans will receive Quackers, presented by Newsday.
Tuesday, June 30, 6:35 vs. York (5:35 gates)
Long Island and York continue their series at Citibank Park. Come out and help cheer on the Flock as they look to capture the Atlantic League's First Half Liberty Division Title.
Wednesday, July 1, 7:05 vs. York (6:05 gates)
It's "Strike Out Cancer Now" Night by Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Citibank Park as the Flock and Revolution wrap-up their series.
Thursday, July 2, 7:05 vs. Bridgeport (6:05 gates)
The Ducks begin a four-game series against their Cross-Sound rival, the Bridgeport Bluefish. Fans will be treated to a Grucci Fireworks Extravaganza presented by Atlantic Auto Mall after the game.
Friday, July 3, 7:05 vs. Bridgeport (6:05 gates)
Long Island and Bridgeport play the second game of their four-game set. Fans will be treated to a Grucci Fireworks Extravaganza. There will be some loud explosions at the ballpark on Friday night for numerous reasons as The Pizza Hut K-Man is back at the ballpark.
Saturday, July 4, 7:05 vs. Bridgeport (6:05 gates)
The Ducks look to provide fireworks as they play game three of their four-game series against the Bluefish. After the contest, every fan will be treated to another great show as the Ducks will be having their third Fireworks Night in a row. This Grucci Fireworks Extravaganza will be presented by Government Service Administrators.
Sunday, July 5, 5:05 vs. Bridgeport (4:05 gates)
What better way to wrap up a week long homestand than with a Sunday game. To begin the day, the first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive an Umbrella, courtesy of News 12. Next, all fans will have a chance to go down onto the field for an autograph session. All kids in attendance will get to run the bases after the game, sponsored by Bethpage Federal Credit Union.
