ROSEMONT, IL -- Paul Flache scored 3:09 into overtime to lift the Chicago Wolves to a 3-2 victory over the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks Sunday at Allstate Arena.
Brad Larsen and Ben Simon also scored for the Wolves, who rallied from a 2-0 second period deficit to win for just the second time in six tries against Cincinnati this season.
Kari Lehtonen, recognized as the number one prospect in the AHL by The Hockey News in December, turned aside 27 shots for Chicago, which snapped a three-game losing streak. Lehtonen had lost five of his last seven games after recording an eight-game winning streak from December 7-31.
Michael Holmqvist and Tim Brent scored for Cincinnati, which ended a three-game winning streak and fell to 1-4-1-0 in its last six away from home.
The Ducks begin a three-game homestand Friday vs. Milwaukee at 7:35 p.m. at Cincinnati Gardens.
