Ducks Birthdays on Sale January 11

The Long Island Ducks today announced that birthday party packages will go on sale Wednesday, January 11 at 9:00 a.m. Fans interested in celebrating their birthday at Citibank Park can do so by calling the group sales department at (631) 940-3825. The team encourages fans to call early to ensure availability.
"Traditionally these are our most popular ticket packages and for good reason," says Ducks group sales manager Bill Harney. "An unforgettable experience awaits any fan that decides to have their birthday party at a Ducks game."
Fans purchasing a birthday party package can look forward to throwing a unique celebration for their child or loved one during a 2006 Ducks home game at Citibank Park. Packages include 10 box seats, 10 Ducks souvenir logo baseballs and one Ducks logo ball autographed by a Ducks player. Food and beverage for your group are included. In addition, the birthday person's name is announced and displayed on the scoreboard as the crowd sings "Happy Birthday."
For groups larger than 10, additional tickets are available for purchase. Last season, loyal Ducks fans reserved all 213 available birthday party dates before Opening Day.
The Long Island Ducks, 2004 Atlantic League champions, play their home games at Citibank Park and are entering their seventh season of play in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. They have filled their ballpark to over 100 percent capacity for six consecutive seasons and are one of the most successful minor league franchises in the country.
