7-Game Homestand will feature Matt Holliday Jerseys and Fireworks! Francis, Jeff July 23, 2008 - The Tulsa Drillers will complete the month of July with a seven-game homestand against the Arkansas Travelers (Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim) and the Northwest Arkansas Naturals (Kansas City Royals). Tulsa will host the Travelers at Drillers Stadium in a four-game series July 25-28, followed by a three-game set against the Naturals July 29-31.

All games in the homestand have scheduled starting of times of 7:05PM, with one exception. The game on Sunday, July 27 will begin at 2:05PM.

The homestand will begin with a two of the season's biggest promotions. Matt Holliday Youth Jerseys will be given away on Friday, July 25, followed by a huge Fireworks Spectacular on Saturday, July 26. Other promotions will include Kids Eat Free Sunday on Sunday, July 27, Arby's Free Ticket Night on Tuesday, July 29 and Clunker Car Night/Thirsty Thursday on Thursday, July 31, Tulsa is currently in a battle with the Naturals and the Springfield Cardinals for the second-half North Division title and a spot in the Texas League Playoffs. The Travelers have already punched their playoff ticket by winning the first-half title.

The Drillers will look to continue their second-half momentum at Drillers Stadium. They have gone 8-6 in the 14 games played in Tulsa during the half. Overall, the Drillers are 5-3 at home against both the Travelers and the Naturals this season.
