Tulsa Drillers News Release
The first-half North Division Champion Tulsa Drillers will host the Springfield Cardinals (St. Louis Cardinals) in a four-game homestand that will run Friday, June 22 through Monday, June 25 at ONEOK Field. The series will mark the first home games for the Drillers in the second half of the season.
Following the homestand, ONEOK Field will be the site for the 76th Annual U.S. Cellular Texas League All-Star Game on Thursday, June 28. It will be the first time that Tulsa has hosted the league's premier event since the 1999 season.
The first three games of the series with Springfield, including the Sunday game, will begin at 7:05PM, while the finale on Monday, June 25 will start at 12:05PM. The All-Star Game is also scheduled for a 7:05PM start.
The slate of games will include two Fireworks Shows. The first will occur after the opening game on Friday, June 22 and the second one will cap off the All-Star Night festivities on the 28th.
In addition, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders will return to ONEOK Field for an appearance on Saturday, June 23. The cheerleaders will perform before and during the game and will also be conducting a clinic for aspiring cheerleaders during the day.

Champions: The homestand will be the Drillers first games at ONEOK Field since winning the first-half title on June 16. The first-half crown guarantees Tulsa a spot in the Texas League playoffs with the first two games of the North Division Playoff Series scheduled for ONEOK Field on September 5 and 6.
Cabrera Receives Honors: It has been a remarkable stretch for Tulsa starting pitcher Edwar Cabrera. After throwing a one-hit shutout during the last homestand, Cabrera was the winning pitcher in the title-clinching win over Arkansas. His performances earned him his second Texas League Pitcher of the Week Award. Earlier this week, Tulsa manager Duane Espy announced that Cabrera would also be the starting pitcher for the North Division in the All-Star Game.
Full of Stars: The Drillers will be well represented at the All-Star Game with eight players selected to participate. The players include pitchers Cabrera, Dan Houston, Nick Schmidt and Coty Woods and position players Nolan Arenado, Lars Davis, Ben Paulsen and Josh Rutledge. In addition, Espy will be joined on the North staff by pitching coach Dave Schuler, hitting coach Kevin Riggs, trainer Austin O'Shea and strength coach Mike Jasperson.
All-Star Festivities: There will be more than just the All-Star Game at ONEOK Field on Thursday, June 28. The evening will begin with the free Elgin Fan Fest at 5:00PM. Pre-game activities will include the High School and Texas League Home Run Derbies, delivery of the first pitches by skydivers and the national anthem performed by Tulsa's own Hanson.
