
Dragons Logo Reaches "Elite Eight" in CNBC Classic

Dayton, Ohio- Having garnered over 53% of the 11,900 fan votes cast on Tuesday, the Dayton Dragons team logo defeated the logo of the Jamestown Jammers in the third round of the CNBC Minor League Baseball logo tournament.
The Dragons logo advances to the "elite eight" in the tournament based on fan voting. On Thursday, March 27th, the Dragons logo will be matched against the logo of the Wichita Wingnuts, with a berth in the Final Four on the line.
Dragons fans are encouraged to visit www.darrenrovell.com and click on MINOR LEAGUE LOGO CONTEST-DAY FOURTEEN VOTING after 9:00 a.m. Thursday to vote. Voting will continue for a 24-hour period, ending at 9:00 a.m. on Friday morning.
The Dragons were chosen for the tournament as one of the 64 best logos in Minor League Baseball among more than 200 clubs, and they are currently among eight teams still in contention. They defeated the Evansville Otters in the first round and the Midland Rockhounds in round two.
The single elimination tournament concludes on March 31st. The tournament is being conducted by CNBC Sports Business Reporter Darren Rovell.
