Today's Game : The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers) in the second game of a three-game set. The third game of this series will be played at Miller Park in Milwaukee. The Dragons play at Beloit starting Saturday.
Individual Notes
- Kyle Waldrop is batting .405 over his last 14 games (17 for 42) with five doubles, two triples, seven RBI. He is now batting .321 and ranks third in the Midwest League in on-base percentage at .443. He also has 10 walks and three hit batsmen on the year.
- Yovan Gonzalez saw his seven-game hitting streak end last night. He is batting .414 over his last eight game and is hitting .351 on the year.
- Ryan Wright is batting .360 (18 for 50) over his last 12 games to raise his average to .312.
- Junior Arias is batting .320 over his last seven games, going 8 for 25 with a home run and seven RBI, to raise his average from .103 to .188.
- Theo Bowe has hit in five straight games, batting .400 (8 for 20). He is second in the league in stolen bases with nine.
- Dragons reliever Kyle McMyne has worked 8.2 innings, allowing just one run and striking out 10 with one walk and seven hits allowed.
- Dan Jensen, a right-handed relief pitcher, becomes the first Montgomery County native to play for the Dragons in their history. Jensen is from the Dayton suburb of Centerville. He has made seven appearances out of the Dayton bullpen and allowed two unearned runs in 13 innings.
- Dragons reliever Carlos Contreras over his last four appearances: 7 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 4 SO.
- Thursday night starting pitcher Justice French enters the day tied with six others for the league lead in victories with three.

The Dragons are 8-5 over their last 13 games and have earned three straight series victories. The Dragons are batting .270 (93 for 344) as a team over the last 10 games after batting .216 over their first 10 games.
