Dragons add four, release two

The Dragons continue to adjust their roster as they near training camp, signing four players and releasing two players who joined the Dragons last season. The four new additions include OL/DL Kader Drame and Kimani Jones, WR Rich Parson and OL Joel Rodriguez.

OL/DL Kader Drame (6-5, 290) signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted rookie free agent in May, 2006. He was later released and picked up by the Indianapolis Colts. Drame Spent 2002-2005 at New Haven, where recorded 44 tackles and 34 assists, seven pass breakups and one fumble recovery.

OL/DL Kimani Jones (6-4, 310) spent 2006 playing in the af2 for the Arkansas Twisters. He finished the season with 14.0 tackles, five tackles for a loss of 16 yards, 2.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries and one safety. He formerly was an Arkansas State standout.

WR Rich Parson (5-10, 195) attended the University of Maryland where in his career he recorded 61 receptions for 882 yards and three touchdowns. He then joined the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent in April 2005 where he was a member of the practice squad and played in one game where he recorded three kick returns for 71 yards, with the longest of 35 yards.

OL Joel Rodriguez (6-3, 295) originally signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted rookie free agent before being allocated to NFL Europe and assigned to the Berlin Thunder. He was also a two-year starter for the Miami Hurricanes and in his senior year, started in all 12 games and was voted the school's Offensive Linemen of the Year.

In other news, the Dragons released QB Juston Wood and Kicker Jesse Obert. The Dragons active roster now stands at 29.
