
Doug Harding Returns to the Pioneers

(Wilkes-Barre, PA) The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers are very excited to announce that Defensive Lineman Doug Harding has been assigned to the 2007 roster! Harding is a Pioneers' fan favorite and a valuable asset to the Pioneers both on and off the field. Last season he recorded 29.5 tackles (18.5 unassisted) and led the team in sacks with a total of 6.5 for a loss of 35 yards.
"After speaking with ownership, management and coaches I think the team will be moving in a great direction towards winning a championship, and I'm glad that I am part of this team. I will do whatever I possibly can to help lead this team in the best direction," stated Harding when asked about his return to the Pioneers.
"I'm very excited to be back," Harding added. "We have a great staff put together, and I look forward to having Coach Ingold back as soon as possible. I wish him and his family all the best."
