
Doubleheader Between Mets, Stone Crabs Cancelled

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Wednesday's doubleheader between the St. Lucie Mets and Charlotte Stone Crabs at Charlotte Sports Park was cancelled due to inclement weather.
Since the teams do not meet again this season the games will not be made up.
Also on Wednesday the game between the Jupiter Hammerheads and Bradenton Marauders was cancelled.
The Mets lead the FSL South Division by half a game over Jupiter. The Mets and Hammerheads start a four-game season ending series against each on Thursday. First pitch from Roger Dean Stadium is 6:30 p.m. The final three games of the series will be played at Tradition Field.
The Mets need to win two of the four games to win the division. Jupiter needs to win three of four.
