Green Bay Blizzard News Release
Former Green Bay Blizzard DB Donnie Amadi (6'0" 190, University of Kansas) has signed a contract with the Georgia Force of the Arena Football League. Amadi is the third player off the 2007 Blizzard roster to sign with the Georgia Force.
Amadi was fifth in the af2 in forced fumbles. Amadi will join DB Stephen Cason and OL Aqua Etefia as 2007 Blizzard players to join the squad.
"It's great to play with them. They are both great leaders and great competitors," said Amadi.
Donnie and his twin brother Ronnie, who will play in New York next season, came to the Blizzard after successful collegiate careers at Kansas. When asked about the fact that he and his brother most likely will not play together, Amadi was upbeat.
"Ronnie and I got to do what we wanted to do which is play together one more time after college. We are going to different teams, which is great for us and a great opportunity to represent ourselves."
