Chicago Express News Release
Hoffman Estates, IL - The Chicago Express, proud member of the ECHL and proud affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, saw a close to their six-game road trip last week, and are back at the Sears Centre Arena on Friday and Saturday to host the Gwinnett Gladiators and Cincinnati Cyclones.
The Express are back at the Sears Centre Arena on Friday, February 17, for a Dollar Friday, featuring one dollar beers and one dollar hot dogs. It is Chicago's first home game in February, as the Express last appeared at home in a 3-2 in shootout win over Cincinnati on January 29th. The one dollar beers and hot dogs will continue to be served until midway through the third period.
Fans can also take part in the Chuck-A-Puck game during the second intermission. Chuck-A-Pucks are on sale in the concourse during the game, and can be purchased for $1 per puck, or $5 for six pucks. Prizes include tickets to future Express games, a Chicago Express Tuxedo Jersey worn during warm-ups for the inaugural home game, and an oil change from Biggers Chevrolet. Winners of the Express tickets and oil change are also entered to win a trip from Apple Vacations or a big screen TV.

On Saturday, February 18, the Express host the Cincinnati Cyclones at the Sears Centre Arena. Chicago is welcoming the 2011 Illinois Hockey Hall of Fame Inductees to the game, and new member Allen Stensland will be dropping the ceremonial first puck. As a thank you to Shriners hospital, Eleanor will also be taking part in the ceremonial puck drop.
The first intermission of Saturday's game showcases the Chicago Bruins Peewee hockey team, who will be playing a game on the Sears Centre Ice. During the second intermission, fans can throw Chuck-A-Pucks on the ice for a chance to win some great prizes.
Following both games, the Express will have the Autograph Booth set up in the Club. Club tickets are not required to take part in the autograph session, so stop by and say hello to two members of the Express after each game!
