Roger Dean Stadium announced today that their fourth Dog Days of Summer promotion will take place this Saturday, July 31st. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday evening for the 7:05 p.m. game between the St. Lucie Mets and host Palm Beach Cardinals.

On Saturday, June 26th, over 100 dogs participated in the third Dog Days of Summer promotion of the season. This is the third consecutive time over 100 dogs attended a game this season. Over 100 dogs are expected again on Saturday so don't let your canine companion stay at home. Bring your pooch out to enjoy exciting Florida State League action. During the summer of 2003, over 500 dogs participated in our salute to Man's Best Friend.

Dog Days of Summer is an opportunity for fans to bring their dogs out to Roger Dean Stadium for a festive night of family fun at the ballpark. All dogs on a leash will have free admission to the game, while the ticket price for owners is just $7.00. Sections 210 through 213 in the stadium will be reserved for all dog-lovers and there will be dog-related items for sale and display around the concourse.

Dog Days of Summer is hosted at Roger Dean Stadium on the last Saturday of every month throughout the summer (April – August). The final 2004 date will be August 28th. The Dog Days of Summer is sponsored by the All Animal Care Clinic, Animal House of Distinction, DOGDAYS, Greyhound Adoption League, Palm Beach Paw Spa, The Pet Mobile, Pets Pajamas, Safe Harbor Animal Rescue, Sammypies Treaties, Scoop De Doo and Star Barks the Dog Treat Bakery.
