ROME, Ga. â The Rome Renegades announce Oscar Dillard is no longer with the organization. Renegades owners want to thank Oscar Dillard for all he has done for the team, and they wish him and his family the best of luck. "This is professional sports and tough decisions have to be made," said Harry Pierce, co-owner of the Rome Renegades.
Taking over as Head Coach is David Humphreys, the Chief Operations Officer, and Scott Chandler will be adding to his secondary coaching responsibilities the role as Defensive Coordinator. All other player and coaching positions have remained the same.
A team meeting was called last night by the owners. All players and coaches are fired up to play before the sold out crowd at Friday night's season opener. Also remember to attend the Renegades Rally on Thursday night at 6 p.m. at the Forum. This is an open to the public meet & greet event. Football fans get ready- the Renegades are here!
