
Opening night coin toss to feature former Auburn coach Pay Dye

Former Auburn football coach Pat Dye will participate in the pre-game festivities when the Montgomery Maulers kick-off the first-ever indoor football game at Garrett Coliseum on Saturday, April 2 at 7:30pm CT.
Opening night will include an electrifying and exciting pre-game show highlighted by fireworks, player introductions, performance by the Maulers dance team and a ceremonial coin toss featuring Coach Dye and other local celebrities.
A former assistant coach at Alabama for several years under the legendary Paul "Bear" Bryant, Dye was a head coach at East Carolina and Wyoming before becoming the head coach and athletic director at Auburn in 1981. He led the Tigers to four SEC championships, nine bowl games, five Top 10 finishes and a 99-39-4 record in his 12 seasons at Auburn.
An expansion franchise in the National Indoor Football League (NIFL), the Montgomery Maulers offer seven nights of hard-hitting, high-scoring, "edge of your seat" excitement at historic Garrett Coliseum. The Maulers play their first-ever game on March 19 at Kissimmee, FL. The first home game is Saturday, April 2 against the SW Louisiana Swashbucklers.
