*FIREWORKS, Boy Scouts Camp Out, and Jersey Auction Highlight Diamond Jaxx August 14-18 Homestand*

The West Tenn Diamond Jaxx, the Double-A Affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, will return to Pringles Park for their second to last homestand of the 2007 season, August 14th-August 18th. The Diamond Jaxx will be facing the Huntsville Stars, the Double-A Affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.

Tuesday, August 14th will be the last $2.00 Tuesday of the 2007 season at Pringles Park. General Admission tickets and a hot dog with a bag of popcorn will be available for just $2.00.

Following the game on Wednesday, August 15th, Diamond Jaxx fans will receive a FREE loaf of Sara Lee Bread and coupons for additional Sara Lee Bread products courtesy of the Sara Lee Bakery.

Thursday, August 16th will be Thirsty Thursday at the ballpark. Fans will be able to buy one (1) fountain drink or draft beer and get another one (1) for FREE. Outback Steakhouse is also scheduled to be on hand with special dinner plates available for purchase when the gates open at 6:00pm.

There will be a post-game FIREWORKS extravaganza sponsored by WBBJ ABC-TV 7 on Friday, August 17th. Also after the game, kids 12 and under are invited to Run the Bases and the West Tennessee Boy Scouts will be on hand to camp out on the field. It will also be FREE Gas Friday, wherein several lucky fans will win FREE gasoline courtesy of Horizon Travel Plaza.

Saturday, August 18th will mark the conclusion of the 5-game series with the Stars. The Diamond Jaxx will be sporting special biker themed jerseys that will be a part of a "Shirt Off Our Back" jersey auction to benefit the Chyanne Scott Foundation. Before the game, Memphis Jones will be on hand performing a pre-game concert. During the game, 24-ounce draft beers will also be available for just $2.00 and there will be a Sermon on the Mound devotional after the game.

All games are set to begin at 7:05pm with gates opening at 6:00pm. Following this homestand, fans will only have 5 more opportunities to see their Diamond Jaxx at Pringles Park during the 2007 regular season. So, get your tickets now. Tickets to all remaining home games of the 2007 season are available by calling the Diamond Jaxx Box Office at 731-988-5299.

*2007 Diamond Jaxx Team Sets Available for Purchase*

The wait for the arrival of the 2007 West Tenn Diamond Jaxx Team Set is over. The '07 set, which has full color front and back sides, includes all five members of the Diamond Jaxx that were selected to participate in the 2007 Southern League All-Star Game (Matt Tuiasosopo, Prentice Redman, Craig James, Joe Woerman, and Robert Rohrbaugh) as well as other future stars of Major League Baseball who have suited up for the for Diamond Jaxx this year.

The 2007 Team Sets are available in the Clubhouse Store at Pringles Park for only $8.00, plus tax. The Clubhouse Store is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday on non-game days and from 9:00am until every fan has left the ballpark on game days. If you cannot make it to Pringles Park, you can also purchase your 2007 team set 24-hours a day by visiting the online Clubhouse Store at www.diamondjaxx.com.

Also, available either at the stadium or online, are Diamond Jaxx Team Sets from each of the seasons from 2001 - 2006 for purchase. The prices for each season have been slashed as of August 1, 2007.

Highlighting the 2006 Team Set are the numerous Diamond Jaxx who were a part of the 2006 Southern League All-Star festivities in Montgomery, Alabama. These players include pitchers Rocky Cherry, Juan Mateo, J.R. Mathes and Chris Shaver as well as outfielders Miguel Negron, Nic Jackson and Chris Walker and infielders Eric Patterson and Scott Moore. The set also includes three other Diamond Jaxx players who were named to the All-Star team but were unable to participate due to a promotion. They are pitchers Carlos Marmol, Clay Rapada and Randy Wells. The 2006 Team Set is available for $6.00.

The 2005 Diamond Jaxx Team Set features current Chicago Cubs players Matt Murton, Ryan Theriot, and Rich Hill. Renyel Pinto, Ricky Nolasco, Felix Pie and Jae-Kuk Ryu are also in the set. The 2005 Team Set is available for $6.00.

Current Chicago Cubs infielder Ronny Cedeno and Florida Marlins pitcher Renyel Pinto highlight the 2004 Diamond Jaxx Team Set. The Set also includes many members of the current Iowa Cubs roster, including Carmen Pignatiello and Micah Hoffpauir. The 2004 Team Set is available for $5.00.

The 2003 Diamond Jaxx Team Set features Major Leaguers like pitcher Sergio Mitre and outfielder Jason Dubois. The 2003 Team Set is available for $3.00.

Chicago Cubs pitcher Mark Prior highlights the 2002 Diamond Jaxx Team Set. The 2002 Team Set is available for $3.50.

Remember, each of these card sets are available for purchase at the Clubhouse Store at Pringles Park or online at www.diamondjaxx.com. The Diamond Jaxx Clubhouse Store at Pringles Park is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. On game days, the Clubhouse Store stays open until ever fan has left the stadium! *Diamond Jaxx Go 3-7 On Latest Roadtrip*

On Friday, August 3rd, Lee Mitchell had three hits and two RBI's to lead the Carolina Mudcats to a 3-1 win over the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx in game one of a five game series from Five County Stadium. Travis Chick suffered the loss for the Diamond Jaxx allowing three runs on seven hits over 4 2/3 innings of work. Marshall Hubbard drove in the only run of the night for the Diamond Jaxx.

Lee Mitchell's three-run homer off of Mumba Rivera capped a four-run eighth inning as host Carolina rallied for a 9-8 victory over West Tenn on Saturday, August 4th. Diamond Jaxx starter Doug Fister yielded two runs on eight hits in five frames. Brent Johnson, Marshall Hubbard and Matt Tuiasosopo drove in two runs apiece for West Tenn.

The Diamond Jaxx snapped a four game losing streak on Sunday, August 5th as they scored a 11-5 win over the Mudcats. Charlton Jimerson had a big day for the Diamond Jaxx, going 4-6 with a homer and five RBI's. Marshall Hubbard, Matt Tuiasosopo and newly acquired Jesus Merchan had two hits each to help spark a thirteen hit Diamond Jaxx attack. Justin Thomas was the beneficiary of the Jaxx offensive explosion as Thomas picked up the win. Thomas allowed four runs on five hits in five innings of work.

Marshall Hubbard's three run homer in the eighth inning lifted the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx past the Carolina Mudcats 6-5 on Monday, August 6th. Hubbard finished the night with three hits and three RBI's. Brodie Downs pitched two scoreless innings to pick up the win. Mumba Rivera, despite giving up two runs in the ninth inning, picked up the save.

On Tuesday, August 7th, Blake McGinley allowed one hit over six scoreless innings as host Carolina topped West Tenn, 4-2. McGinley retired the first seven batters he faced before Rene Rivera doubled with one out in the third. Jesus Merchan and Luis Valbuena hit RBI singles for the Diamond Jaxx. West Tenn starter Andrew Baldwin struck out a season-high nine but took the loss.

The Diamond Jaxx traveled to Smokies Park for a five game series with the Tennessee Smokies beginning Wednesday, August 8th. On the 8th, the Smokies jumped out to a 6-0 lead and then hung on for dear life to beat the Diamond Jaxx 6-5. Tennessee scored six runs in the first two innings off losing pitcher Travis Chick. The Diamond Jaxx bullpen of Chris Jakubauskas, David Asher and Michael Hrynio combined to hold the Smokies to just four hits over the final seven innings. Charlton Jimerson stroked a three run homer in a losing effort for the Diamond Jaxx. Brent Johnson had a pair of RBI's while Matt Tuiasosopo and Jesus Merchan had two hits each.

West Tenn played long ball on Thursday, August 9th as the Diamond Jaxx slugged four home runs in their 10-4 win over the Tennessee Smokies. Marshall Hubbard hit a pair of home runs and drove in five runs to lead the Jaxx to victory while Luis Valbuena and Mike Wilson each homered and drove in two runs. The ten runs were more than enough for Doug Fister, who picked up the win.

On Friday, August 10th, Alan Rick scored on a Mumba Rivera wild pitch, capping a three run ninth inning, to lift the Smokies to a 10-9 win over the Diamond Jaxx. The Diamond Jaxx were led offensively by Brent Johnson, Prentice Redman, Mike Wilson and Mike Saunders who had two RBI's each.

Kyle Reynolds hit a two run walk-off home run with two outs in the bottom of the eleventh inning to lift the Smokies to a 12-10 win over the Diamond Jaxx on Saturday, August 11th. Luis Valbuena and Prentice Redman drove in three runs each to pace the Diamond Jaxx attack.

In the final game of the roadtrip on Sunday, August 12th, Jeff Samardzija and two relievers combined on a five-hitter as host Tennessee defeated West Tenn, 5-2. Diamond Jaxx starter Andrew Baldwin gave up all five runs -- two earned -- on eight hits while striking out five and walking one over 7 2/3 frames for his third straight loss. Luis Valbuena and Thomas Hubbard each hit a home run for West Tenn.

The Diamond Jaxx will look to get back on track against the Huntsville Stars beginning Tuesday, August 14th at Pringles Park.
