EL PASO-The El Paso Diablos have announced that Mike Marshall has been relieved of his duties as of Monday, June 5.
"Mike Marshall has made a significant contribution to the Diablos organization during the past year and a half," said Matt LaBranche, General Manager of the El Paso Diablos." We're thankful to have had Mike as our manager; however, at this time we felt the need to move in another direction."
"I'd like to thank Mark Schuster and the El Paso Diablos for the opportunity and for bringing me to El Paso," said Mike Marshall. "I wish the Diablos the best of luck this season."
Carlos Sepulveda, currently Diablos player/coach, has been named as the interim player/manager. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Sepulveda signed as non-drafted free agent by the Florida Marlins organization Jan. 19, 2004.
