WORCESTER, Mass. - The Lowell Devils scored on their first shot of the game and Jeff Frazee stopped all he faced as they blanked the Worcester Sharks, 1-0, on Saturday at the DCU Center. Frazee made 33 saves as Lowell shutout Worcester for the second consecutive game to stay in the playoff hunt.

The Devils went up, 1-0, just 30 seconds after they spent the game's first two minutes on the power play. Alexander Vasyunov sprung himself into the Worcester zone with a bank pass of the far wall and beat Greiss with a long wrist shot from the left circle.

Frazee made sure the lead held with his fourth shutout of the season and also received some help when Worcester had two goals waved off in the third period. Lowell's penalty kill was a perfect 8-for-8 in the game.

The Lowell Devils return home to face the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Sunday, March 29 at 4:00 p.m. Listen as Ryan Johnston brings you all of the live action on 980wcap.com or at ahllive.com.
