Devils Announce Preseason Schedule
LOWELL, Mass. - The Lowell Devils, American Hockey League affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, have announced their 2008 preseason schedule. A series of road games will make up the Lowell's exhibition season as they start things off with a two-game set against the Philadelphia Phantoms.
The two squads will battle at the Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ on Monday, September 22 at 1:30 p.m. On Tuesday, September 23, the Devils will face the Phantoms at the AmeriHealth Pavilion at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ at 4:00 p.m.
Lowell will continue its preseason play with a match-up against the Providence Bruins at the Dunkin' Donuts Center on Friday, October 3 at 7:05 p.m. Lowell then heads south to clash with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Saturday, October 4 at 7:00 p.m. This contest will be played at the Sound Tigers' practice facility, The Rinks at Shelton.
The Lowell Devils' home opener is Saturday, October 11th, as they host the Worcester Sharks at 7:00 p.m. Individual tickets and season ticket packages are on sale now for the 2008-09 season.
