Devil Rays-Whitecaps washed out
July 21, 2005 - Midwest League (MWL1)
Southwest Michigan Devil Rays News Release
Today's Southwest Michigan Devil Rays vs. West Michigan Whitecaps game has been postponed. The game will be made up tomorrow, Friday, July 22, as part of a double-header at 6:05 p.m. with two seven-inning games. The game was called due to hazardous outfield playing conditions after a 33-minute rain delay.
This was the fourth consecutive rain-delayed home game for Southwest Michigan. The previous three home games against Lansing on July 13-15 were delayed a total of two hours and seven minutes over the three dates. The double-header will be the seventh the Devil Rays have played in the 2005 season.
The Devil Rays are hosting Fireworks after tomorrow's double-header. It's also Radon Awareness Night. The first 100 families through the gates will receive free Radon Awareness Kits. Gates will open at 5:05 p.m.
