
Details Released for Petes Very Merry Christmas Drive-By on December 12

(Peterborough, ON) - The Petes have released a detailed map with estimated timelines and COVID-19 safety protocols for the Very Merry Christmas drive-by event presented by Subway on Saturday, December 12.
The detailed map and timeline highlights the route of the Very Merry Christmas presented by Subway. The Merrett Home Hardware -powered trucks and the Very Merry team will be departing the Peterborough Memorial Centre (PMC) at 1:00 PM.
The Very Merry Christmas drive-by will be escorted by the Peterborough Police featuring three holiday Petes-themed trucks with Santa Claus and Roger the mascot. Fans can track Santa, Roger, and the Christmas floats on the Petes Facebook page, as Petes in-game host Courtney Bell broadcasts live from the route. Residents are encouraged to use the hashtag #HollyJollyPetes on all social media posts when the Very Merry crew visits their neighborhood.
Included on the route are a variety of residential areas throughout the city including the west end, north end, east city, and downtown. The drive-by will conclude at the PMC at 9:00 pm.
To ensure the safety of the Very Merry crew and the public, the Petes and the Peterborough Police will be following and enforcing all safety measures and protocols in place from Peterborough Public Health. Due to restrictions and in order to adhere to safety protocol, the Very Merry crew will not be able to distribute holiday gifts or cards during the drive-by.
Holiday cards, treats and special video messages will be sent to all who pre-registered for the Petes Very Merry Christmas, courtesy of Printhub Ink , Morello's Independent Grocer and Real Canadian Superstore .
